IBA Placement

IBA was established in 1972 and in 1987, the department was upgraded as to the status of institute. Over the years IBA has earned national and international repute for its teaching and research. It has been great honored with “Innovation Leadership Award” in the 2nd Asia’s Best Business School Award 2011 in Singapore.  

In order to cater the need of variety of students, IBA is offering the following graduates and post graduates programs.

Since the establishment of IBA Lahore, the institution has always thrived to produce distinguished graduates from all over the country.  We believe it a necessary requirement to offer career guidance to their students. The inevitable responsibility has landed at the doors of Placement Cell. It provides full nourishment for the minds of the students to enhance their capabilities and to aid them in exploring their full potential.

The IBA Placement Cell facilitates students to get suitable internship and job. The objective is to bridge the gap between the corporate sector and student body by arranging on campus recruitments, company meets and company visits.  To arrange seminars/workshops for students to develop their skills in writing resumes and to coordinate with alumni and generate internship/job opportunities for the students.

 

Activities:

Internship for Students: Students will be placed to acknowledge them for the corporate environment at various national and multinational companies for 6 weeks and under supervision and guidance of respective company personnel.

Placement and Recruitment: With the effort of the placement cell the students are getting jobs and the internships in the reputed organizations.

On-Campus Recruitment:

Training and Development: The placement cell also in determination to organize the training and development programs for the students to groom them and to make a refined and distinguished business graduates.

Career Orientation Program: Programs to orient students about industry expectations will be organized.

Interactive session towards employability: To impart training to all students to develop their employability skills and to be good Corporate Executive and Civilized Citizen

Interview Skills and Techniques session: A guest lecture is organized by mentors and experienced corporate trainers to train the students on interview skills and techniques and mock interviews.
